Alabama

Auburn University - raised over 4,000 pounds for the East Alabama Food Bank, over 99,000 lbs pounds in a “Food Fight” with the university of Alabama. - Martha Faupel, 334-821-9006.

University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa - 561 pounds at the end of the school year; 62,000 pounds (food fight)

Arizona

Community Food Bank of Tucson / University of Arizona - raised over 3,627 pounds of food; 21,880 pounds of clothing; 7,122 pounds of various items, for a total poundage of 32,629 lbs. Debbie Hanson did a great job.

Care and Share Food Bank - over 6,000 pounds

Arkansas

University of Arkansas Fayetteville - 15,000 lbs. (tremendous response to Katrina)

California

University of California at Santa Barbara - 3,000 pounds.

San Diego University - 2,593 pounds

University of San Francisco - 500 pounds

Colorado

Weld Food Bank / University of Northern Colorado - 6,000 pounds

Connecticut

Quineppiac University - 800 pounds

Middle Georgia Food Bank - 300 pounds

University of Notre Dame / Food Bank of Northern Indiana - 3,400 pounds, $43,000 cash donations and 81 tons of various clothing and other items. This end of year drive is run by four hundred volunteers and supports 45 charities. The Notre Dame official who handles the logistics is Allen Bigger 574-631-5615.

Texas

Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas - gathered 16 tons of stufh plus $30,000 in cash donations. Converted meal tickets also raised 1,300 pounds of food.
